RPI Hosts Launch Event for New Center for Smart Convergent Manufacturing Systems

In fall 2025, we celebrated the launch of the Center for Smart Convergent Manufacturing Systems (CSCMS) at RPI.

As one of New York State’s Centers for Advanced Technology, CSCMS brings together robotics, AI, advanced processing, and human creativity to drive the next generation of smart manufacturing and fuel economic growth across New York state.

RPI Launches Semiconductor CoLab to Advance Microelectronics Research and Education

In fall 2025, RPI celebrated the launch of the Semiconductor CoLab at NY CREATES’ Albany NanoTech Complex. The new 6,000-square-foot facility is designed to advance semiconductor research and strengthen academic programming in microelectronics — positioning RPI as a key contributor to the nation's semiconductor research infrastructure.
