I am writing to update you on our progress toward our new 10-year strategic plan. In my June 2023 message to the community, I announced that the Rensselaer Forward committees had completed their work and that the draft reports were available for community input. Since that time, the committees have reflected on the many suggestions submitted by the Rensselaer community through the Rensselaer Idea Bank, and they have refined their reports based on those thoughtful ideas. I am now pleased to submit the final reports to the Rensselaer community, which can be found in the Idea Bank and will be open for community comment until November 2. In the meantime, my leadership team and the members of the Rensselaer Forward committees will begin reviewing the final reports. Immediately after the Idea Bank closes, we will begin the process of finalizing the Rensselaer Forward strategic plan, with a goal to complete the plan by early 2024.

I would like to thank the entire Rensselaer community for taking the time to provide valuable insight into meaningful ways in which we, together, can carry Rensselaer forward into its third century.
