I’m thrilled to announce the launch of our new strategic plan, RPI Forward. This plan sets out our 10-year strategy and vision, establishing our aspirations and goals for the next decade and beyond. It also establishes a five-year roadmap focused on our priorities of strengthening enrollment management, facilitating and growing our research impact, and enhancing alumni and community engagement. We consider RPI Forward a living blueprint, one that we can build on as we gain new knowledge and discover the emerging needs of future generations.  

I would like to thank Chief Strategy Officer May Lee for her leadership in guiding the development of this plan. The Strategy Office will play a vital role in shepherding the implementation of RPI Forward as we transform our aspirations into action. I would also like to thank the entire RPI community — faculty, staff, students, Board of Trustees members, alumni, and friends of RPI, including the committees who addressed the five pillars of this plan and everyone who submitted comments and suggestions to our Idea Bank — for taking the time to provide their valuable insights. This document represents thousands of hours of collective effort and collaboration, and as such it expresses a shared vision for the next century. It would not have been possible without your contributions.
