Active Trustee 1981-2017
G. Robert Tod ’61 was co-founder of the CML Group Inc., a specialty marketing company, and served as its vice chairman, president, and chief operating officer from 1969 to his retirement in 1998. He is currently non-executive chairman of Allagash Brewing Co. and serves on the board of trustees of the Ida Cason Callaway Foundation.
He is a former director of SCI Systems Inc., US Trust, Walden Bancorp, and Domain Inc. and previously served as a trustee of Emerson Hospital, the Middlesex School, the Fenn School, and as a vice president of the Alumni Executive Council of the Harvard Business School.
Tod received a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1961 and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School in 1967.
He received the Rensselaer Alumni Association's Alumni Key Award in 1986 and is a member of the Amos Eaton Society of the Patroons of Rensselaer.
