Bruce Hunter Appointed Interim Director of the Office of Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Bruce Hunter for the position of Interim Director of the Office of Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer. Mr. Hunter begins employment today, September 18, 2017.
Mr. Hunter began his career as Chief Executive Officer at Digital Data Resources Inc. As the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Hunter provided strategic direction, planning, and implementation to advance a startup from a technology park to develop digital document imaging. He then joined the Madison Development Group, LLC as Senior Vice President for Acquisitions. As the Senior Vice President, he was responsible for day-to-day management of multifaceted real estate business ventures with the responsibility to develop relationships with real estate brokers across the country to identify properties for condominium conversions. In 2003, Mr. Hunter joined Core Media, LLC as the Chief Executive Officer, where he was responsible for strategic marketing, business development, and the development of online portals such as websites, social media platforms, and blogs. Mr. Hunter currently serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Lally School of Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. In addition, he has taught journalism, marketing, and business administration classes at other colleges and universities.
Mr. Hunter possesses a Juris Doctorate; Master of Business Administration; and Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Iowa.
